Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd, Israel's second-largest weapons manufacturer and government-owned entity, produces the Heron TP killer drone and Zibar tactical utility vehicle supplied to the Israeli military. In November 2023, the company's CEO stated that Heron drones had "played a pivotal role" in Israel's military operations in Gaza, and Germany approved Israel's use of two IAI-manufactured Heron TP drones for operations there in early October 2023. IAI maintains facilities in illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank and Golan Heights, and the Israeli military ordered approximately $27 million worth of Zibar vehicles in 2022.
