Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) provided equipment to the Israeli population registry and prison system. The company was formed in 2015 following a split from the original Hewlett-Packard Company, and subsequently underwent further restructuring in 2017 when its Enterprise Services segment merged with Computer Science Corporation to form DXC Technology.
HP Israel supplies the BASEL biometric identification system to Israel's Ministry of Defense. BASEL is installed at every Gaza border crossing and West Bank checkpoint, collecting fingerprints and facial recognition data from every Palestinian who passes through.
